Universal Hydraulics USA was established as part of the strategic expansion plan of Acoples Industriales WSA, a Colombian company with more than 25 years of experience in the manufacture of couplings, the marketing and assembly of hydraulic and industrial hoses.

 

In 2015 Walter Salazar, Founder and Manager of Acoples Industriales WSA looking for a solution to the loss of productivity in heavy machinery due to incidents with hydraulic hoses and, creates, develops and patents the Universal Connector for Hydraulic Hoses, an innovative and effective solution for the recovery of equipment availability in the event of any type of failure in hydraulic hoses.

In 2019, the commercialization of the Universal Connector became widespread in Colombia through the subsidiary Mangueras y Acoples WSATEC with excellent results.

 

Between 2020 and 2021, a market study for the Universal Connector solution is carried out in the United States (Florida and Idaho) and Canada (Ontario), based on the results it is decided to establish the Universal Hydraulics USA company in Miami as a WSATEC brand, with the purpose of providing customers with innovative solutions and services, with quality, opportunity and an excellent cost-benefit ratio.
